But locusts live near a river, and grasshoppers live farther than locusts. Locusts eat rice plants, but my father closed the farm in my babyhood, therefore I don't know for certain.” Artemidor said, “Lunar cockroaches are one-and-eight-tenths times as big as terrestrial cockroaches. I can't run fast at the Moon, but I can run fast on the Globe. I can throw a ball with a throw of 96 meters, but I can throw a ball with a throw of 16 meters only on the Globe.” And Orion said, “I can throw a ball with a throw of 28 meters on the Earth, but I've never gone to the Moon.” Skinny persons run fast on the Earth. But they can't run fast on the Moon, because they rise up. And fat persons can't run fast on the Earth, because they are heavy. But they step the ground tightly and can run fast on the Moon. Earthians call the Earth, “The Earth” , and Lunarians call the Earth, “The Globe.”
