The twelfth of August, Mathusala and Batrache the frog came to Orchomenos. They came to front of a spring. Then a guide said, “3, 000 years ago, Actæon saw Artemis' naked body at here. And she turned him into a deer. Now whoever fall that spring, take body of deer.” Then a beaver dove into the spring, and metamorphosed into a deer. And they saw an another spring. Then the guide said, “2, 500 years ago, Ectæon saw Artemis' naked body at here. And she turned him into a saber-toothed tiger. Now whoever fall that spring, take body of saber-toothed tiger.” Then a cat came running. And a coyote came running after the cat. And the cat dove into the spring, and meatamorphosed into a saber-toothed tiger, and got on from the spring. Then the coyote turned back, and the saber-toothed tiger ran after the coyote. And they saw an another spring again. Then the guide said, “2, 000 years ago, Ictæon saw Artemis' naked body at here. And she turned him into a pterodactyl. Now whoever fall that spring, take body of pterodactyl.” Then a large crowd of gannet rushed into the spring. And many pterodactyls surfaced and took flight. And Batrache said to Mathusala, “Does she want to show her naked body?”
