And Mathusala went to woods so as to she get three servants. Then she found a black panther. And she shouted, “Rodem! Be my first servant!” , and started to run after the black panther, because she wanted to make the black panther be a servant. Then the black panther sought sanctuary in a bush. She came running and threw one glass egg into the bush. And a snake came out from the bush, and came to her. She asked to the snake, “Doest thou get looked a black panther?” The snake answered, “No I don't. Master! Look my dance!” , and started to do a sinuous dance with shouts, “Snake Snake Snake Dance! Snake Snake Snake Dance!...” Then she looked around and found the black panther that was escaping. And she ran after it, and threw one glass egg at it. And the snake was following Mathusala too. The black panther and the glass egg plunged into a bush again. And a slug went out from the bush, and flew at the snake, and ate in no time. She asked to the slug, “Doest thou get looked a black panther?” The slug answered, “Yes I do!” Mathusala asked again, “Where doeth it get gone?” The slug answered, “No! I don't know about it! I don't know! No! Know! No! Know! A fruit plays on the flute a prayer song! A goat wears a coat! A frog flogs a crock! Fred's friend found five funny frogs from France! She sells seashells down by the seashore! A bad cad baffs a cat with a bat!...” Then Mathusala dropped a big stone onto the slug, and looked around and found the black panther that was escaping. Hot-spring frog is rare kind of frogs. Our zoological name is Rana Thermarum.” Then Mathusala cried, “Oh bad luck! Let me name thee Batrache! That after bátrachos , and Patrasche! Mathusala said, “Canst thou what doing?” And Batrache said, “I am a shapeshifter. I can change into anythings.” And Mathusala commanded, “Be a cat.” And Batrache changed into a cat. And Mathusala took the cat in her arms, and said, “What doeth the cat say?” And the cat puffed out his vocal sacks on his cheeks, and started to croak , “Croak croak croak....” Then Mathusala shouted, “Such the cat existeth in nowhere!” , and dashed the cat against a tree in anger, and started to run.
At the evening, Mathusala was going home alone. Then Venus and a crescent moon existed at the western sky. And she shouted for joy, “Oh! Captain Harlock! My legs are thick, but thy legs are slender and are nice-looking!” And she dressed a leopard's far coat to Batrache too. The coat had been Mathusala's favorite in her childhood, but it was too small, therefore she wasn't able to put any longer.
