みなさん、日本で水族館！といえばどこを思い浮かべるでしょう？
Where do you imagine of aquarium in japan?
大阪の海遊館とか沖縄の美ら海とか東京の葛西臨海とか
どでかい水族館はたくさんありますが、
今回紹介するのは、山形県鶴岡市にある水族館、
「加茂水族館」 です
There are many famous aquariums in Japan.
Kaiyukan in Osaka, Churaumi in Okinawa, Kasairinkai in Tokyo, etc.
But today, I'd like to introduce Kamo Aquarium in Turuoka city, Yamagata pref.

加茂水族館は東北の人ならまず間違いなく知っている水族館ですが、
なんといってもクラゲで有名！
Kamo Aquarium is so famous for jellyfish!!
クラゲの展示種類数は５０を超え、なんと世界一
日本一じゃありませんよ、世界一！！
We can see more than 50 kinds of jellyfishes!!
It's no.1 in the world ! wow!

実は旅平さんは三回ほど加茂水族館に入ったことがあります
（２０１１年、２０１３年、２０１９年←今回1月に訪問）
I've been here for three times including this visit.
But this visit is meaningful, because this aquarium was rebuild in 2014.
しかし、２０１９年とそれ以前では大きく異なることがあります。
それは、加茂水族館が、
２０１４年にリニューアルされたんですよね。
当時、建設資金を「クラゲ債」という公募債を発行したことでも話題になりましたが、
新しい建物は当たり前ですが綺麗で、クラゲを展示するための設備もしっかり整えたという印象でした（愛称はクラゲドリーム館）。
At that time, it became a hot topic to issue public bonds called "jellyfish bonds" for construction funds.
The new building is beautiful and clean.
The equipment for displaying the jellyfish was also arranged.
(the nickname of this bulding is "jellyfish dream hall !").
ちなみに前回来たときの旧館は、古く、かなり老朽化していて、
いわゆる地方の寂れた水族館みたいな印象でしたが、
大きく様変わりしていておどろきました
When I came here before, building was old and looked like just a one of local aquarium.
However, it changed amazingly.I was surprised!!

それにしてもなぜにクラゲ？
と思われた方もいると思いますが、
この加茂水族館は、経営難をクラゲを展示することで脱却したことで有名になった水族館です。
Why is this aquarium famous for jellyfish?
The reason is that Kamo Aquarium has escaped management difficulties by exhibiting jellyfish.
過去の親会社や現在所有する鶴岡市とも経営に関し、揉めに揉めた過去もあり、
中々にドキュメンタリーです！笑

加茂水族館では、クラネタリウムなんて言い方をしています
It is very fantastic. In this aquarium, we call it "kuranetarium" (Jellyfish Planetarium).
研究施設もあります

興味深かったのは、クラゲの寿命がかなり短いということ！
寿命の短いクラゲを展示するには、飼育のノウハウが必須ということなんですねぇ、ナルホド
Interestingly, the jellyfish has a very short life!
In order to display a jellyfish with a short life span,
the know-how of breeding is essential. I god it!

実際に様子を確認できるのでオススメですよ！

ちなみに普通の魚も展示されています
（冬はやってませんが、アシカショーなんかも有）
Ofcourse, in this aquarium, we can see some fishes like bellow.

Kamo aquarium is interesting other than that exhibition.
まずはクラゲアイスにクラゲソフト！
First, Jellifish ice cream!!!
これはソフトの方ですが、
クラゲが細かく刻んで、振りかけられているｗ
クラゲにはそんなに味はないですが、歯ごたえがあって中々興味深い味です・・・
Jellyfish is chopped and sprinkled on the ice cream!!!
Jellyfish does not taste so much,
but it has chewy and interesting ice cream taste ...

This time, I didn't eat but next time I must try it.
