雑誌numberで読んだけど、日本のレジェンド国枝選手の使用する車いすは選手の中でも比較的安いものなんだそうです。愛用して体になじむという理由の他に、競技人口の裾野を広げるんだという狙いもあるようで、比較的お金をかけなくてもトップに行けるということを自らをもって証明したいらしい。
やはりトップ選手は考える発想が、高尚ですね。ますます目が離せません。
