昔からミュージカル映画が好き
でした。
iPodにも、ミュージカルのサントラが数多く入っています。
ミュージカルって、
お芝居の途中でいきなり歌いだすってどうよ
という声も聞きますが、
こっぱずかしいベタなセリフも、歌なら許されるっていう部分もあるのです。
元気が出ない時なんかは、サントラを聴くと映画の場面が思い出されて、心の深いところが癒されたり、勇気づけられたりします。
そんなわけで
今日は、この歌を思い出して聴いてみました。
『RENT』は、エスニック マイノリティ（少数民族）、セクシャル マイノリティー（性的少数者）、麻薬中毒や HIV/AIDSなどいった、それまでの主流派ミュージカルでは敬遠されていた人々や題材を幅広く取り上げています。
私って、マイノリティに異様に共感してしまうのですよ。
虐げられ、押さえつけられた魂が、その輝きを失わずにいる様にいつも感動して涙
