For three years, I've never been truly happy. I was always sad, I felt lonely.. I felt like no one cared and that I should disappear off the face of the earth.

But, today it ended... Well, 12:30AM to be exact. I started getting birthday wishes that made me actually cry.. because I then realized I wasn't forgotten by many many people. All of my friends told me a very happy birthday, and I couldn't stop crying for twenty minutes straight.

Then this morning? I finally got a new laptop! It made me happy, and made me remember that the feelings that I locked up inside continued to betray me until the very end.

..I wonder if this is a Turning Point in my life?

I think I remember putting a post on here talking about how my brother went to Afghanistan to fight in the war, right?

Mm.. Well, I guess I should tell you some more stuff. Around the beginning of July, my brother had promised me that he would send a Postcard from Afghanistan. Well, around the 28th of July, I got my Postcard. I was so happy, I started crying when I saw it! 。・゚゚・(≧д≦)・゚゚・。 I miss him so much...

My brother will be coming back in mid-October for 2 weeks before he's shipped back to Afghanistan again. During that time, though, I'll be in High School. He's going to miss my birthday, but.. It's alright. He's protecting us, right?

Then again, this war is a bunch of Bull itself. I do not remember Afghanistan having a reason to fight, but of course: This is America. (This is pretty much a stereotype, but most of it's true.) "We want to be the best, so let's go into war! Hur hur.."

*Sigh* Besides all that. I logged onto GradeSpeed the other day thanks to a Classmate of mine. She said our grades have been reset, and therefore the new schedule has been put up. They pushed off one of the Journalism classes (Photojournalism, I think), so.. They stuck me into art instead. (-。-;)

Well, it's fine. Tomorrow I get my shots, and on the 9th I get my Schedule and ID. My "friends" (that really only ditch me, ignore me, etc.) will be happy to see me, but.. Will I be happy to see them?
Here's yet another blog post about my life, but today I'm going to really discuss one thing that I listened to while looking for music: VOCALOID.

From Wikipedia ~ "Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It utilizes Yamaha's Vocaloid synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice. Each Vocaloid is sold as "a singer in a box". The software is available in English and Japanese."

A few years back, I was introduced to it after looking at videos that were really really popular on YouTube. I was also getting into the Anime fad, so seeing a VOCALOID like Hatsune Miku or KAITO really made me happy and smile a lot. That's also when I paid more attention to Miku. After awhile, I got out of the fad after realizing that most of the songs sounded too... Robotic.

I got back into after looking at VOCALOID songs being sung by Nico Nico Douga users. Today, I would like to show some videos of VOCALOID songs that I liked a lot over the years. There's only going to be like four.. so don't worry.

"Rolling Girl (ローリンガール)" by Hatsune Miku

"It's My Road Roller! (俺のロードローラーだッ)" by Rin & Len Kagamine

"Another: World Is Mine" by KAITO

"SPICE!" by Len Kagamine

I really don't know why I like SPICE!. I guess it's because the beat is catchy, hahaha. Though, if I had to choose my favorite VOCALOID, it would have to be one of the classics: KAITO. Not because he's hot or anything, just the fact that I like his voice.

Well, I guess that's all from me!
