Last week, me and my friend received a confirmation from our boss that we can push Japanese band to perform here in Philippines. We were so happy about it. But, there is a condition. The condition is that we should create a facebook page that will promote the band and reach a minimum of 8000 likes.
We told our friends about this, they were like us who loves japanese visual rock bands. They said that they are willing to help us in our campaign since there were a few jrock bands to visit our country. Actually there's only one jrock band who came and did a live here. That band was the Uchuu Sentai NOIZ.
There were so many jrock band fans here and yet every time that these bands decided to go on a tour, let's say asian tour, they skipped us, in a world tour they skipped us too. What the hell! Sometime we are joking among ourselves that maybe the world map in japan doesn't include the Philippines. Maybe it does but the decriptions would mainly be like... PHILIPPINES - home of sweet mangoes, makers of fine guitars, and great place for vacations. LOL
We said that because every time we heard news about jrock artists come to the Philippines, they only came to have a vacation or to buy new guitars and they often get some mangoes as tokens for their friends (sigh).
Oh well, at least I'm happy right now. It seems like my efforts are having results now. If ever we will be successful in bringing jrock bands here, we will be the one to accommodate them (kyaa~ヾ(@ ^ ▽ ^ @)ノ). So jrock bands out there.... just wait, we will definitely bring you here, mark my word. HAHA!!
