One day of the early spring of this year, I recorded this video at "Hamura zoo".

They are couple of the "Indian Crested Porcupines" in "Hamura Zoo".
彼らは、「羽村市動物公園」の「インドタテガミヤマアラシ」の夫婦です。

Husband's name is "Yamato", and wife's name is "Nadeshiko".
だんなさまのお名前は「ヤマト」君、そして、奥様のお名前は「ナデシコ」ちゃんです。

Yamato whose color is darker and is smaller a little than Nadeshiko.
ナデちゃんより色黒で、ちょと小柄なヤマト君

Greedy Nadeshiko eating a banana.
バナナを食べてる食いしん坊のナデシコちゃん

When their names are put together, it becomes "Yamato Nadeshiko".
彼らの名前を合わせると「大和撫子」になるです。

It means Japanese beautiful woman who is neat and clean.
大和撫子は、清楚で美しい日本の女性のことです。

They were mating, on March 7th of this year.
3月7日に、彼らは、エッチしてたです。



Nadeshiko gave birth to two babies on July 7th.
ナデシコちゃんは、7月7日に、2頭の赤ちゃんを産んだです。


This is an “Effect”.
これが「結果」です。


It is said that Crested Porcupines’ estimated length of gestation is about 115 days.
タテガミヤマアラシの妊娠期間は、約155日だって言われてるです。

I think that the babies were given their lives when they mated this spring.
あたしは、おそらく、今春のエッチが、赤ちゃんたちに命を授けたんじゃないかって思ってるです。

A secret of the triplets’ birth. 出生の秘密

They are baby Servals who were born in “Hamura Zoo” on the end of June.
彼らは、6月の末頃に「羽村市動物公園」で生まれた、サーバルの赤ちゃん達です。

When they were born, a strange thing happened.
彼らが生まれたときに、不思議なことが起こったです。

On the morning of June 26th, two babies were born.
6月26日の朝、2頭の赤ちゃんが生まれたです。

Their parents have not had a baby for a long time.
赤ちゃんたちの両親は、長く子供ができなかったです。

Because of that the zoo was full of happiness.
だから、動物園は、喜びでいっぱいになったです。

But they are not twins.
でも、彼らは、双子じゃなかったです。

Actually, at 3pm of the following day, one more baby was born.
実は、翌日の3時ころに、もう1頭の赤ちゃんが生まれたです。

Yes, they are triplets.
そーです、彼らは、三つ子だったです。

A zookeeper who is in charge of the Serval told that sometimes it like that happened.
飼育員さんは、時々、こういう事が起きるって言ってたです。

But in such the case almost all babies are dead or very weak.
だけど、そういうときには、ほとんどの赤ちゃんは、儚くなってしまっているか、ひどく弱っているそうです。

But, this baby is full of energy and so cute.
でも、この子は、元気いっぱいで、とっても可愛いです。

Their energetic and cute figure made me happy.
彼らの元気で可愛い姿は、あたしを幸せにしてくれたです。

I was really so glad, like a snow leopard cub who is monopolizing a toy.
あたしは、おもちゃを独り占めしてるユキヒョウの子供みたく、めちゃめちゃ嬉しかったです。






By the way, the Servals live in Africa in the wild.
ちなみに、サーバルさん達は、野生下では、アフリカに住んでるです。

The “Serval” means “Hunting dog” in Spanish.
「サーバル」っていうのは、スペイン語で「猟犬」って意味です。

They are great hunter.
彼らは、狩りが上手です。

Their prey is rodent, hares, birds, insects, fish, and etc.
彼らの獲物は、ネズミの仲間や、野兎や、鳥や、魚、等々です。

They are able to swim and climb, and also are able to run fast.
彼らは、泳げるし、木登りもできるし、早く走ることもできるです。

Additionally, they are good at jumping.
おまけに、ジャンプも得意です。

They are able to jump 2m height or more.
彼らは、2メートル以上、ジャンプできるです。



For example, they hide in the bush to catch their prey.
例えば、彼らは獲物を捕まえるために、茂みに隠れるです。

When a bird who was aimed by them take off, they jump and catch it.
彼らの狙ってる鳥が飛び立った時、彼らはジャンプして捕まえるです。

They are excellent hunter.
彼らは、優秀な狩人です。

He is "Taka" the Serval in "Hamura Zoo".
彼は、「羽村市動物公園」のサーバルの「タカ」君です。

And she is his wife named "Yuki".
そして、彼女は、タカ君の奥さんの「ユキ」ちゃんです。

She gave birth to triplets on the end of June.
彼女は、6月の末頃に、三つ子を産んだです。

Now, triplets are 1 month old and a half.
今、三つ子ちゃんは、生後一か月半です。

In fact, they havent' been shown to the public yet.
実は、彼らは、まだ、公開されてないです。

But, sometimes, they come outside from back yard for training to adjust to the exhibit area and the ordinary visitors.
でも、時々、放飼場と、来園者に慣れる訓練のために、お外に出てくるです。

This is the first time that I met the serval's baby.
あたしは、サーバルの赤ちゃんに、初めて会ったです。

They are very very so cute!!
すごく、すごぉ～く、めちゃめちゃ可愛かったです。

I shivered excitedly.
あたしは、興奮して震えちゃったです。



So, today, anyway, I uploaded a lot of photos and one piece of videos.
というわけで、兎に角、今日は、沢山のお写真と、ビデオをアップしちゃったです。
