「クドリャフカ」を、知ってますか?
She was the first dog to go into space in the world.
彼女は、世界で初めて宇宙に行った、わんちゃんです。
On October 4th 1957, the former Soviet Union successfully launched “Sputnik” which is the first artificial satellite in the world.
1957年10月4日に、旧ソビエト連邦が、世界で初めての人工衛星「スプートニク」の打ち上げに成功したです。
And about one month later, on November 3rd 1957, 2nd Sputnik was launched.
でもって、その約1ヶ月後の1957年11月3日に、スプートニク2号が打ち上げられたです。
Kudryavka was put into it.
クドリャフカは、それに乗せられてたです。
Kudryavka was the wisest, the most well-conditions, and the most well-behaved in "Training center" of "Research institute".
クドリャフカは、研究所のトレーニングセンターで、一番賢くて、一番元気で、一番おりこうさんだったです。
Because of that, people chose her from a lot of trainee dogs.
だから、たくさんの訓練犬の中から選ばれたです。
She was put into the second Sputnik, with only 10days supply of food and air.
彼女は、10日分の食糧と空気と一緒に、スプートニク2号に乗せられたです。
Second Sputnik was not designed to be able to return her to earth.
スプートニク2号は、彼女が地球に帰れるように、設計されてなかったです。
From the beginning, people had no idea of returning her alive.
最初から、彼女を生きて帰らせる気なんか無かったです。
On November 11th, in the satellite, she was given the last food containing sleeping medicine and poison, to put her painlessly to death.
11月11日に、人工衛星の中で、彼女を安楽死させるために、睡眠薬と毒薬の入った、最後の食事が与えられたです。
Because of that, November 11th is described as the anniversary of her death.
だから、11月11日は、彼女の命日とされてるです。
However, there is also one theory that she passed away due to the over heat of the defective cockpit after several hours of the launch.
だけど、彼女は、打ち上げの数時間後に、コックピットの欠陥による過熱の為に儚くなったっていう説もあるです。
She had to die because she was the wisest, the most well-conditions, and the most well-behaved than any other dogs.
彼女は、他のどの子達より、賢くて、元気で、おりこうさんだったから、死ななければならなかったです。
I’m not sure why people have to go into outer space at the cost of her life.
あたしには、彼女の命を犠牲にしてまで、どうして宇宙にいかなきゃなんないのか、わかんないです。
But, our today is based on her sacrifice.
でも、我々の今日は、彼女の犠牲に基づいてるです。
I pray for her, on November 11th every year.
あたしは、毎年、11月11日に、彼女の為に祈るです。

Suddenly, I lost my sense of perspective, so I felt that strange.
突然、あたしの遠近感がおかしくなったから、変だなって思ったです。
so, I raised my gaze from a liquid crystal display of my camera, then I noticed the shoebill stood right in front of me.
で、カメラの液晶画面から目をあげたら、ハシビロコウが目の前に立ってるのに気付いたです。
It was way too close, so I was surprised a lot.
あまりにも近かったから、あたしは、めちゃめちゃびっくりしたです。

similar.
似てる。
Am I the only one to think so?
