ユキヒョウの三つ子は、ママのしっぽを触りたくてしょうがなかったです。




But it seemed mom was interested in the other things.
でも、ママは、他のことに気をとられてたみたいです。

Shyngiz might be over there.
シンギズ君が向こうにいたのかもしれないです。

Shyngiz is a dad of triplets, and is mom's beloved.
シンギズ君は、三つ子のお父さんで、ママの愛しい人です。

Mom might was into Shyngiz who is very popular with all females.
ママは、女の子にモテモテのシンギズ君に夢中なのかもしれないです。

Southern tamandua vs Capybaras. ミナミコアリクイ vs カピバラ

Southern tamandua in “Izu Animal Kingdom” was given yogurt for a snack.
「伊豆アニマルキングダム」のミナミコアリクイさんは、おやつにヨーグルトを貰ってたです。

A zookeeper taught us "Sour taste of yogurt resembles formic acid, so anteaters eat yogurt".
飼育員さんは「ヨーグルトの酸味は、蟻酸と似てるから、アリクイさんはヨーグルトを食べる」って教えてくれたです。

If you want, you can give yogurt to him, too.
もしやってみたいなら、あなたも、彼にヨーグルトをあげられるです。

Southern tamandua's photo of previous report was the one of the moment which he finished eating yogurt and turned around.
この間の記事の、ミナミコアリクイさんのお写真は、彼がヨーグルトを食べ終えて、振り返った瞬間のお写真だったです。



By the way, after eating yogurt, he was walking around.
ところで、ヨーグルトを食べ終えた後、彼は歩き回ってたです。

He was starting look for some ants from interspace of a barn.
彼は、小屋の隙間のアリを探し始めたです。

Actually, usually it seemed the place around the barn is a capybaras’ territory.
ホントは、普段は、そこはカピバラさん達のテリトリーみたいだったです。

Capybaras were puzzling about Southern tamandua who is a stranger who appeared suddenly, and were saying “Kyuru kyuru”.
カピバラさんたちは、突然現れた怪しいアリクイさんに困惑して、「きゅるきゅる」言ってたです。

But Southern tamandua had continued looking for ants regardless.
でも、アリクイさんは、お構いなしに、アリを探し続けてたです。



Capybaras live in South America, in the wild.
カピバラは、野生下で、南米に住んでるです。

Southern tamanduas live in Central and South America, in the wild.
ミナミコアリクイは、野生下で、中南米に住んでるです。

So, some of them might meet, in the wild.
だから、かれらの何頭かは、会ってるかもしれないです。

But they are put in separate area, in the almost all zoo, as far as I know.
でも、あたしが知ってる限り、ほとんど全ての動物園で、彼らは、別々の放飼場に入れられてるです。

Because of that, I thought this is “Collaboration of dreams by an Southern tamandua and capybaras”.
だから、あたしは、これは、「アリクイとカピバラの夢のコラボレーション」だと思ったです。

Rubilin the oldest Siberian tiger in Japan.

Today, I knew a piece of very sad news that Rubilin passed away.
今日、ルビリンさんが儚くなったという、哀しい知らせを知ったです。

She was 19 years old, and was the oldest Siberian tiger in Japan.
彼女は19歳で、日本最高齢のアムールトラだったです。

When I went to the “Higashiyama zoo” two months ago, I first met her.
２か月前に東山動物園に行ったときに、彼女に初めて会ったです。

She was so big and I felt awe.
彼女は、とても大きくて、畏敬の念を憶えたです。

She was blind due to old age, so a zookeeper was taking care of her, intently.
彼女は、高齢の為に、目が見えなかったので、飼育員さんが、一生懸命お世話をしてたです。

When give some food to her, the zookeeper put a piece of meat near her foot to find it to her.
彼女にごはんをあげるとき、飼育員さんは、彼女が見つけやすいように、彼女の足元に一片のお肉を置いたです。

If she didn’t notice it, zookeeper picked up it and put it again and again, until she finds it.
彼女が気付かないと、飼育員さんは、ひろいあげて、何度でも置きなおしたです。

She noticed it and started to eat, then zookeeper put some meat one after another.
彼女が気付いて食べ始めると、飼育員さんは、次々にお肉を追加したです。



It was amusing that the meat was increasing little by little.
お肉がどんどん増えていくのは、面白かったです。

But I think it was serious, it was zookeeper's great effort for giving a lot of meat to her.
でも、それは、遊びじゃなくて、彼女にたくさん食べてもらうための、飼育員さんの努力だったと思うです。
