After surfing in Waikiki for 4 to 6 hours, you are going to get very hungry.

What did I "grind"  (  local slang for "eat" ) during my vacation ?

Breakfast got to have Portuguese sausage, eggs and cinnamon roll .   ( I was out of rice )

Lunch is a Plate Lunch,   fried chicken, sweet potato fries and teriyaki beef.

Memphis Style Ribs.   I usually have BBQ sauce ribs, but this dry rub was good !

If you got no time, grab a MANAPUA.   Some may call it Char-siu bao or Chinese bun.

And it's got to be the BAKED manapua, not the steamed white version.

Local comfort food is Corned Beef and Cabbage.    With a beautiful sunset in Nuuanu.

Family get togethers have all sorts of  food delacacies.  In the foreground you can see cut pineapple in Ling Hi-Mui powder.

Lots of food, but where's the drinks ?

The two most popular juice brands in Hawaii is Hawaiian Sun and Aloha Maid.

First time I saw this flavor,  Mango Orange.

Luau Punch, basically fruit punch.   Do you know only McDonalds' in Hawaii serves Fruit Punch drinks ?

Some people consider Aloha Maid as "B-grade" compared to Hawaiian Suns "A-grade".   Most people say Aloha Maid is more watered down than Hawaiian Sun drinks.

Speaking of drinks,  this is Jack in the Box Medium sized drinks.  In Japan, this would be 3XL size.

( where there's no such thing anyways )

For dessert, I had Guava Cheesecake  ( from Costco )

And some tasty mangoes,  right off the tree.

That should be enough food to get me through another surf session in Waikiki.
