Do you know citizens of Dresden decided to construct a contemporary bridge over the Elbe?

As you know, the river in Dresden is a world heritage. But habitants in Dresden chose the bridge abandoning the honor of living in the world heritage area. They are going to return the honor.

I can't understand what they do. I've heard British people don't mind to be inconvenient to preserve a fine view of an old town. Munich citizens rebuilt a same old-fashioned town after destroyed their town due to WW2, even though they could build a completely new town. They chose a historic worth they were carrying on.

I think they noticed they had responsibility to their children leaving fine nature.

These days, in Japan the construction of dams has been contrabarcial problem in public society, because they destroy any systems in nature and its cost is hugely expensive. I can accept their opinions and Don't want any more dams. I've also heard in the U.S. a lot of dams are being removed from nature, and people there are getting back fine nature.

I love both of nature and old-fashioned town. It would be best, if they keep perfect harmony. And I want my sons to appreciate them too.

What do you think about a decision of Dresden?
