Today I had drums lesson at DOJO or drums school.
Today's teacher was King KOZO!
The last time I met him was in August so I wanted show him how I have improved.
I'm not sure if I could show him.
However there was something I felt happy.
We played a time game, in which we must play the rudiment perfectly and fast , and I made a new record in the class.
The last record was tempo 160. Mine was 170. Not bad ,right?
Today's music was the song from DETROX which my mom and I went to see yesterday..
He said "This's latest song from DETROX."
At first we thought that we must play it fast when we read the score, but it was slower actually.
The reason we felt it so fast was because we had to play it by one leg, and it's so hard.
In the class, we take turn to play the drums set. Others use the pad while one play the drums set. So you can play only part of music on the drums.
If you take last turn, you are lucky.
Because if there are time left, you can play the whole music.
I was lucky today, because teacher Kozo called my name last.
I expected I could be the last one, as I's the youngest in the class.
So I kept practicing while other students were on the drums.
He said I was the best in that class!
It made me happy.
I like the drums.
When I grow up, I want to be over him sometime.
Hahaha, I said it!
