Do you know about Kiyotsukyo (Kiyotsu valley)?
The place has 41,000 hits on Instagram!
I haven’t known about it until my friend asked me to go together.
Kiyotsukyo is one of the best 3 valleys in Japan, which are Kurobe valley (Toyama), Osugi valley and Kiyotsu valley.
The views from the end of the Kiyotsukyo tunnel are the most popular spot, which is called “Tunnel of Light” created by art group, MAD Architects.
The water is all over the ground in the tunnel and reflects the views of the valley. People standing there are seen as if they are shade. It’s very beautiful.
The number of tourists has increased after MAD architects created the arts of the tunnel.
It is amazing that they fascinate many people by their hands.
There is Echigo-Yuzawa station, which has bullet train lines, 30 mins away from Kiyotsukyo. There are ropeways and lifts neaby to see magnificent views of the Japan Alps. Also it is enjoyable to go around local restaurants and souvenior shops in Echigo-Yuzawa station. Echigo Mochi pork is popular and delicious.
It was a great trip to find out Japanese beautiful nature.
I have grown to love Japan more and more through visiting wonderful natural places.
(I hadn't known that there are such beautiful places in Japan since I was born even in Japan!!)
