found those cute flowers beside the cherry blossoms.
those were a "japanese horse chestnut" and a "japanese andromeda".
horse chestnut is a sort of meditian for a horse.
japanese andromeda is written "馬酔木" (horse-drunk-tree) and
it is a sort of poison for a horse.
does the garden express something ?
"life has its ups and downs", and so forth
old garden designer might be understand english and japanese,
botany and zoology. is that true!?
桜の木の下で とちのき かわいい花をさかせてました
雨の中、元気に生き生きとして見えた
この とちのき のそばに咲いていたのが、 あせび（馬酔木） ん？馬？
馬が食するとふらふら酔ったようになるそうです。
（明るさ加工、等倍トリミングです。この日は雨でフィルターの内側がくもってどの写真もぼんやり）
ちなみに先の とちのき は英語だと japanese horse chestnut。
む、む、む！ 同じ庭に英語と日本語で馬が！
さらに調べました。英語の horse chestnut はマロニエ。
馬の胸部疾患の治療に使われるから馬がらみのそういう名前がついているそうですね。
このお庭、あたかもアメとムチ・・・。
人生山あり谷ありを表現しているんですね。（うそ）
