Left Nelson on 20th of May, then drove to Takaka. Stopped by Takaka Hill Lookout.
There was walkways at the hill. This track was a way more stunning than I expected. The view is just gorgeous. You can look back Nelson, and also see the valley view on the opposite side. You will be walking in the wood but will be walking on the rocks or in alpine plant in another moment. So many things to see and feel during just two hours of walk. Bring something to eat. You'll find out that it's tastier up on the hill than inside of your house.
5月20日ネルソンを出発し、タカカまでのドライブ。途中タカカヒルに立ち寄る。
そこにはウォーキングトラックがあり、このトラックが想像以上に素晴らしかった。ただただ美しい景色。向こうにネルソンを振り返ることができ、反対側には谷の景色。森を歩いているけれど、次の瞬間には岩場を歩いていたり、高山植物の中を歩いていたり。2時間のコースの中に見るものと感じることが詰まっている。何か食べるものを持って行こう。同じものでも、丘の上では家の中で食べるより美味しいことにきっと気づく。
