Kuri has been with us for 8 months now. How quickly she has grown! Her sable coloring is now turned blonde, but she is still fiesty as ever. Everyday is an adventure when we come through the door! She has chewed cords, pencils, gum, and whatever else she can reach.
Kuri が我が家に来てからもう8ヶ月！ 大きくなるのが最も早かったです。茶色だった毛も今は、だんだんと薄くなり。 でも、かわらないのは、やんちゃだけです。 毎日家に帰るのがこわいです。 めちゃめちゃに噛んでしまったのは、ケーブル、鉛筆、やガム。。。何しろ、口で届くものは、何でもいいみたいです。
The cork floor is finally in! 
Our house is still in a state of chaos, but at least the floor is finished. Next will be the carpet, so we will have to move the furniture around again. But I must say, I am pleased with what I see.
C is sick again. 
This time I haｄ to take him to the doctor's office. He asked if I wanted to have him tested for H1N1, but I declined. I think it is too cruel to stick two sticks through the nose and down into the throat. By the time the test results come back in 5 days, he should be all better by then, don't you think?!
Since I had nothing better to do today, I baked some brownies.
It was very cool this morning. I think it is almost time to take a trip to Apple Hill. Mmmm apple donuts!

やっとコークの床が入りました! まだ家の中は、ごちゃごちゃだけど、床が終わっただけで 一安心。 次は、カーペットの番です。 また、家具の 移動が 始まります。 でも床がきれいになったのでうれしいです。
Ｃ君が又 熱を出してます。 今回は、医者に連れて行きました。 新型インフルエンザの検査をしますか と聞かれたが、 鼻からのどまで 棒を入れるといわれて、やめておきました。 それは、かわいそう過ぎます。第一 検査結果が出るまで ５日かかるのなら それまで元気になってしまいますよね？！
今日は、ひまなので ブラウニーを久しぶりに焼きました。
今朝は、とても涼しかったです。 もうそろそろＡｐｐｌｅ Ｈｉｌｌに遊びに行く時期です! ｍｍｍｍアップルドーナッツ！ 早くＣ君元気になってね!
There is something definitely going around town! C has a fever and cough and had to stay home from school today. K is coughing but no fever, so she went to school. I hope it is not the H1N1 virus. So far I have not been sick. T was sick a few weeks ago...I think he had the H1N1...body aches, fever, congestion. What a way to start the school year!
K seems to be enjoying her new school and C likes his teacher and class, so hopefully our year will be good. I am just concerned that since he is in a split class this year there may be some issues. Hopefully not though...think positive
I have a new niece! She was quite big when she was born, but she looks very tiny and cute. It has been so long since I held a newborn that I was scared to hold her! Her neck is not so strong yet, that you just don't want to hurt her.
本当に 悪い風が流行っていますね。 Ｃ君は、熱を出し、咳もひどくて今日 学校を 休みました。 Ｋちゃんは、咳していますが、熱は、なかったので 学校へ行きました。Ｈ１Ｎ１で なければいいんですけどね。 私は、まで元気です。 Ｔ氏は、２週間ぐらい前に 寝込んでいました。 多分彼は、Ｈ１Ｎ１だったのかも。。。体がだるくて、熱と鼻がつまっていたらしくて。。。こんな感じで新学期が始まりました。
Ｋちゃんは、新しい学校が気に入ったそうです。Ｃ君は、先生とクラスの友達が好きだといっていますから、いい一年になるように。 心配なのは、２年と３年生が混じっているクラスで、問題がおきそうです。まぁ～なるべくいいほうに考えましょう。
そういえば、新しい姪が 誕生しました！産まれた時は、結構大きかったそうですが、実物を見てみると 小さくて、かわいいです。 産まれつきの赤ちゃんは、もう何年も抱っこしてないので 抱っこするのが怖かったです。 首があまりしっかりしてないので、もし、けがでもしたら大変ですからね。
