Fun Jinshanling Great Wall Sunset Hike

Beijing Wow, are a quality operation. David and Jackie picked me up at the hotel (right on time) for what amounted to a 12 hour tour to the Jinshanling portion of the Great Wall. Both David and Jackie were not only great tour guides, but extremely personable companions as well. While I hauled camera gear around (and they helped with that), they had a small cooler for soft drinks and water, which, after hiking up and down the wall, was much appreciated. The day was exceptionally beautiful and I asked to stay a bit later to capture the last of the day's sunset--a desire easily accommodated by David and Jackie.
This was truly one of the highlights of my two weeks in China. I would recommend anyone wanting to see Beijing and the surrounding sites and who wants an agenda that is flexible and tailored to his or her own interests, contact David IMMEDIATELY. He is absolutely one of the best tour operators in the city.
Jinshanling Great Wall lies in the mountainous area of Luanping County, Hebei Province. It located about 110 kilometers (68 miles) northeast of Beijing, the capital of China. Jinshanling offers a beautiful and pure nature views surroundings and at the same time its original structures, less repair.
