The only thing Ghosen has done is further erode the quality and reliability of Nissan products. There is only one reason Renault left the US market, they made crap cars that no one wanted. Now they have ruined what little credibility Nissan had left. As a 40 year retired mechanic I can tell you that Nissan is now a very distant fourth in sales and reliability behind Honda, Kia/Hyundai and Toyota. The writing is on the wall for Nissan. They will probably limp along for a few more years but their glory days are long gone. This of course is merely my humble opinion. But if you don’t believe me, just watch Scotty Kilmer or John Cadogan on YouTube. Their hundreds of vids will back me up.
