3 A good friend from India told me that people are allowed to divorce in arranged marriage. He married a single-mother from India in which their parents set up the marriage. The reason why divorce rate is low is because the parents find good candidates for their children. They find educated people with good jobs and who don't have a bad reputation. How many Americans do you know that stay in abusive relationships? I was one of those people. Sometimes our parents truly know what is best.
