読めるのにしゃべれない理由 2

Ans.2 Because some of the Letters tend to be pronounced differently from language to language
       ( plus there can be Extra Ones- that English doesn't contain)... Like the French Yes, "Oui" -is not

        pronounced "Ow-ee". -But "We." :)

アメリカ人にとっての外国語ってスペイン語、ドイツ語、フランス語あるいはギリシャ語などの兄弟言語を想定しているのですね。
ということは発音さえ分かればしゃべれちゃうということか！

日本人の場合そういうわけにはいきませんね。
