日本の国債の状況ってどうなんでしょうかね。よく分からないのでyahoo answersに聞いてみました。
Government debt. Japan has the highest debt-to-gdp ratio in the G8 I believe. It's debt is over 200% of GDP, putting it around $8-$9 trillion I believe since Japan's GDP today is a little over $5 trillion.

With debt pilling up the government isn't able to spend as much as they like.
そりゃそうだわね。
This means that if Japan had a double-dip recession the government wouldn't be able to pump as much
money into the economy, and it also means that possibly some of the liabilities they have will have to be
cut back (like pensions, etc.)
