Amidst the rising action in NCAA Mens Basketball, Sneaker News unveiled its newest month-long feature called “NCAA Feet: Toe to Toe” in which two big-time college squads are thrown in a pit to battle it out with their kicks. Last week’s match-up featured Syracuse University of the Big East and Arizona of the Pac-10, in which the Wildcats easily handled the Orange as a result of the 1,000+ voter turnout on Sneaker News. This week, Sneaker News has selected the Huskies – Washington and Connecticut – to face off in a East vs. West competition for this week’s crown. UConn’s Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier lead the way with their on-court heat, while Isaiah Thomas and Venoy Overton hold it down for the Huskies counterpart in the Pacific-Northwest.
