Just how many red, white and blue models will Supra release this summer? It started around Memorial Day with the ‘Flag Pack’ Skytop II, which was followed shortly by a ‘Puerto Rican Day’ Vaider Mid, then the original Skytop in a different US flag motif with a ‘Liberty’ nickname. The 4th of July-themed fireworks continued with the tonal Indy Pack, but the latest instead takes its inspiration from the country who gave America Lady Liberty. The Supra Skytop ‘Paris’ utilizes the clean blue/white look the French soccer squad has become so fond of, tricolored accents including the insoles and outsoles finishing off the theme quite nicely. 100 individually numbered pairs of these will be available at Supra Paris this Saturday, July 16th, so click through to see more images and let us know if you plan to hop on the Concorde and grab a pair.
For those who value packaging as much as the actual contents, 2011′s been a pretty good year thus far. From the OG-inspired boxes on the Air Jordan III releases and the luxurious briefcase-like set-up for the Air Jordan 2011 flagship, Jordan Brand hit it right on the nail when it came to making these already exciting releases even more unforgettable. When Sneaker News first showed you the new slide-out box for the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, many of our readers were excited at the sleek white/black motif, although some didn’t care much for the packaging itself. In any case, this Air Jordan XI slide-out box caps off a great year for the Jordan Brand creative team, so here’s to hoping for more themed box releases in the future (perhaps the OG cement-print boxes for next year’s Air Jordan http://nikefreerun30v5.weebly.com/ IV?). Air-randyhk has more images of the upcoming Air Jordan XI Concord so take a look below and let us know what you think.
