New Balance knocked a couple out the park with last year’s ‘Tall Tales Pack’ and its ‘Paul Bunyan’ and ‘Babe the Blue Ox’ colorways, so it was only natural to revisit (North) American folklore with a few more classic suede and mesh runners in 2012. Following up on the Johnny Appleseed version is this John Henry-inspired New Balance M574JH, a charcoal, silver and mauve ‘Made in USA’ design that looks like they were forged from the same steel their muse was known for driving. Check them out in additional images below, let us know which is the best of the ‘Tall Tales’ 574s and grab yours at NB retailers like Las Vegas’ Feature.
The Oakland Raiders aren’t sitting at the Nike Presto 4 most impressive record at the moment (3-4 for those keeping track), but perhaps this color scheme-appropriate sneaker release in the near future for the Nike Air Max Flyposite can lift their spirits a bit. The pairs pulls on the Nike Air Max Flyposite‘s lineage as an NFL design, slipping the silvery upper onto the sneaker in one of the shinier Foamposite equipped pairs since the ‘Pewter’. This is just one of the many Black/Silver-colored Trainers to hit stores this Holiday season, so click through for the images and keep in mind that the Black/Metallic Silver “Raiders” Nike Air Max Flyposite will drop this December 15th.
