赤毛のアン13章12

Diana and I have our playhouse there. We call it Idlewild.
Isn't that a poetical name? I assure you it took me some
time to think it out. I stayed awake nearly a whole night
before I invented it. Then, just as I was dropping off to
sleep, it came like an inspiration. Diana was ENRAPTURED
when she heard it.

そこにダイアナと私がおもちゃの家を作って、それをアイド
ルワイルドと呼ぶことにしたの。詩的な名前でしょう？　そ
の名前を思いつくのには少し時間がかかったわ。思いつくま
でほとんど一晩寝ずに起きていたものね。そしてうとうとし
た丁度そのときひらめいたの。その名前を聞いてダイアナは
もう夢中。
