Daniel Romano's band the Outfit have announced the new album Preservers of the Pearl, and they're launching it with the single "Autopoiet." The album is out March 13 through You've Changed Records.
Notably, the band here are billed simply as the Outfit, rather than as Daniel Romano's Outfit. That's because it's a more collaborative outing, with Romano opening up the songwriting process to include bandmates Ian Romano and Carson McHone, plus new recruit Tommy Major.
A press release promises "music as communion — rock n roll as a shared experience." The album was recorded live to tape at the band's own Camera Varda studio in Welland, ON.
