They set out on their first North American tour early the following year. Further touring was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, during which time they recorded the more stripped-down None of This Matters Now. Released in 2022, the ten-song set found Papooz back in their sweet spot, making bright, upbeat indie pop. They resumed touring Europe over the next two years, building up to the 2024 release of Resonate. On this album, the duo struck a more immediate tone that still adhered to their core sound, while bringing in sharper post-punk and psychedelic touches. Released in early 2026, the band's next album, Papooz & Friends, saw them collaborating with a range of artists including fellow Parisians the Oracle Sisters as well as Norway's Erlend Øye and Australia's Molly Lewis.
