Dell's challenge to the iPod

Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the dell laptop battery

Dell has teamed up with Hitachi to deliver a hard-drive based MP3 player akin to the iPod. The unit, which gets its official launch tomorrow, will play MP3 and WMA files, use a USB 2.0 connection, and apparently support voice recording and data backup. The 20GB 7.6 ounce model will purportedly sport 16 hours (!) of battery life (as compared to the iPod's 8 hours), and will include software intended to provide close synchronization with MusicMatch's new online music store.

A 15GB model is also expected, and some believe that Dell will unload a 40GB, $499 option. The 15GB and 20GB models will be priced at $249 and $329, respectively. Dell will also be launching their line of TVs, marking an aggressive entry into with battery such as dell INSPIRON 2600 battery , dell INSPIRON 2650 battery , dell 1G222 battery , dell BAT3151L8 battery , dell Latitude X300 battery , dell W0465 battery , dell Inspiron 2000 battery , dell Latitude LS battery , dell 2834T battery , dell 4834T battery the consumer electronics world just in time for the holidays.

I count myself in the ranks of iPod worshippers, but I must say that most of my devotion to the cult stems from the early version of the product. There's a somewhat heated debate between those who love and those who hate the latest revision, and for good reason; the two are rather different. I had the chance to grab the newer model with no moving parts over the summer, and I've not liked it much. The buttons are too easy to set off, yet sometimes they don't seem very responsive. I was actually plotting to trade my 30GB model with Hannibal's 20GB, older model before he moved to Chicago, but I failed. Curses!
