→→→
Not Entertainment News: Random Acts of Satire
Hi, I'm Ryback Solomon, Gonzo journalist. I've been to Puerto Rico, just like Hunter S. Thompson. I've imbibed rum, just like in The Rum Diary. And now I have controversial views and reviews to share about all our latest cultural insanity, continuing the work of my mentor. Sure, I'm a satirical alter ego. But doesn't that give me a license against lawsuits, if not IEDs? I hope so, because somebody needs to explain this stuff, now that Hunter is gone. Look--if you think about it, no one is real anymore: you’re either a consumer, a demographic, or an identity theft victim. But even we identity thieves don’t have an identity. We're faceless too. Like hackers, spammers, or banking CEOs too big to jail. Why can’t we all get along? I’m guessing it’s because we don’t really talk, anymore. Or listen, for that matter. Either way, if just for the duration of this book, let me do the hard part and try to entertain you with humor that's the hardest kind to write. And the scariest, too. Because it has a point. (Then you can Tweet your friends: "Nutty fun, love/hate, read/burn.") Although it's difficult to burn an ebook. (Although Amazon may want you to try…they don't call them Kindle FIREs for nothing.)

【店舗情報引用】

2014年05月08日 05時 木曜日feat. D.O Revolutions 続き>>
