I emailed my agency to get a result of the interview with a personnel of a hotel in LA.
My agent said she(the personnel) really likes me and she wanna hire me for any positions in that hotel, but GM said he wants to hire someone who can work for long-term as a catering assistant. But the position I want is a catering assistant. If they hire me as an intern, I can get J-1 visa which is good for me to work in the States for only 18 months, so he is kind of skeptical that I'm going to work for that hotel after intern or not if they hire me as a catering assistant. But she still recommends GM hiring me.
I told my agent that I'm willing to work for long-term after intern period, or if they wanna hire me as a full-time worker from the begining, that's more like it.
If GM still says no, I'm not going to stick to this hotel. Other positions are not related to my current carrer, so there's no point to get other position in this hotel.
I'm now waiting for an answer from my agent.
