I'm going to visit my friend in Dallas and my BF in CA, so searched for a discount ticket. I found fairy good one and tried to book it, but the agency said that one was already fully-booked...I pulled out all the stops to find other discount tickets, but oh no...dead end..
There's still some available flights, but they are not Star Alliance members (I have Mileage Plus card from UA). The agency said there's still vacancy if I leave States on 17 or 19, Sep. but I wanna leave there on 18!! I need to be with my BF as long as possible, so cant leave on 17. Also, I have to be back to work on 20, so cant leave on 19.
I emailed him from work (we talk by email at work everyday) and called him at lunch time to discuss what to do. I gave up on the discount ticket and will buy one through UA website. I actually checked it yesterday and it isnt really expensive compared to that discount ticket. BUT why do we have to pay 10000 yen for gas now?! it cost about 5000 before and now 10000?! and have to pay tax, too!! I bought a new laptop last month. Please God... Dont let me spend more money...
Well, anyway, it's such a nice night today to look up the sky and feel cool air. The moon is so beautiful. I prefer the moon to the sun for some reason.
