「私は、真理は道なき道であり、いかなる道によっても、いかなる組織、宗教、いかなる宗派によっても、真理に近づくことはできないと主張します。それが私の見解であり、私はそれを絶対的かつ無条件に信奉しています。真理は、無限であり、無条件であり、いかなる道によっても到達できないものであるから、組織化することはできないし、人々を特定の道に導いたり強制したりするために組織を形成することもできない。まずそのことを理解すれば、信念を組織化することがいかに不可能であ るかがわかるでしょう。信念とは純粋に個人の問題であり、それを組織化することはできないし、し てはならないのです。もし組織化すれば、それは死んでしまい、結晶化し、信条、宗派、宗教となり、他者に押し付けられることになります。これは、世界中の誰もが行おうとしていることです。真理は狭められ、弱い者、一時的に不満があるだけの者のための遊び道具にされてしまいます。真理は下に持ってくることはできません。むしろ、個人が真理に登る努力をしなければなりません。山の頂を谷に運んでくることはできない。もしあなたが山の頂上に到達したいのなら、谷を通り抜け、危険な絶壁を恐れず、急勾配を登らなければならない」~Jiddu Krishnamurti, August 3, 1929.

Excerpt from the essay The truth is a Pathless land by Jiddu Krishnamurti-August 3, 1929
"I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any organization, religion, or by any sect. That is my point of view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path. If you first understand that, then you will see how impossible it is to organize a belief. A belief is purely an individual matter, and you cannot and must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystallized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others. This is what everyone throughout the world is attempting to do. The Truth is narrowed down and made a plaything for those who are weak, for those who are only momentarily discontented. Truth cannot be brought down, rather the individual must make the effort to ascend to it. You cannot bring the mountain-top to the valley. If you would attain to the mountain-top you must pass through the valley, climb the steeps, unafraid of the dangerous precipices."~Jiddu Krishnamurti, August 3, 1929.
