There really are no tapes that contain acid, but that the correct term is "acid-neutral". This ATG tape is acid-neutral and will not harm photographs or yellow papers.
Another question often asked is whether it will fit in other dispensers than the one Tape Solutions sells. Yes, our ATG tape will work in all 3M ATG guns and other brands out there. They all use a standard 1" plastic core. The ATG gun that we offer is often less expensive than other brands, so check out our SD-950.

This ATG tape is actually a double-faced adhesive transfer. The adhesive on this tape is very aggressive and works wonders on all those glossy or varnished papers, as well as, heavy paper stock that on a fold fights against the joint. (In other words, the strength of the paper tries to pull where you taped or glued it apart.)

Adhesive transfer tape for use in an ATG gun is referred to by many names, such as ATG tape or "buger" tape. It is one of the most popular selling tapes I carry, because it is inexpensive and very versatile. Printing companies, binderies, small print shops, frame shops, and scrapbooking enthusiasts use this product to assemble their items. It is faster and cleaner than glue. The Shurtape TG356 is a 1.8 mil adhesive that sticks to most surfaces.
