そして、ほぼ１年後、ニューヨーク・タイムズスクエアのギャラリーで
スペース海は子どもたちの書作展を開催することになった。

Thank you for coming to our exhibition.
These works were produced by the children of Space Umi.
Space Umi, located in Chiba, Japan, is a non-profit organization
that provides a place and opportunities where mentally disabled children
get together and learn skills and knowledge through a variety of activities.
We have learned and realized a lot of precious things through the 11-year
activities with the children.
One of the things we learned is a simple, but direct answer
to the profound question, "Why do we encounter?"
We'd like to share the message with you all.
"Why do we encounter?"
"It's to make friends with each other and support each other.
Never to fight with each other, right?"
