At 16:46 on September 16, 2014, SID-1, an automatic observation and imaging device robot that records UAPs unattended 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, captured two UAPs flying at high speed.

Here is the data taken of the two white shining UAPs.

Date and time of photography (JST=UTC+9): from 16:46:51 on September 16, 2014

Recording camera: SID-1 Automatic

Observation and Imaging Device Robot SID-1®

Two capsule-shaped UAPs, shining white and aligned vertically, were recorded by SID-1 moving at a considerable speed from north to northeast and east (over Adachi and Edogawa wards from Kita-ku, Tokyo).

A similar capsule UAP took off from the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Atlantic Ocean off Jacksonville, Florida, USA, four months later in January 2015, and was also photographed by an F/A-18 flying overhead with a Raytheon forward-looking surveillance infrared sensor (ATFLIR).

The videos were released by the U.S. Department of Defense on April 27, 2020 and introduced by media around the world.

One of the videos is called GOFAST.

(Note: The pilots later testified that the video was actually much longer and clearer)

The report "GOFAST UAP Velocity and Size Calculations" details the analysis of this capsule-shaped UAP.

What's more, the fact that some of the video recordings taken by SID-1® are reminiscent of the two capsule-shaped UAPs and the GOFAST white capsule-shaped object taken in the U.S. has also been published with the video as a report. See the report below.

Surprisingly, not only are these UAPs very similar in shape as capsules, but the ratio of major to minor axes is exactly the same, 1.80 to 1.00.

The same capsule shape and the same ratio of its major to minor axes would suggest that it is most likely a similar object of the same type. It probably means that the same type of capsule-shaped UAPs are flying in the skies around the world. Moreover, we have already analyzed that these images are not birds, aircraft, helicopters, drones, airships, balloons or halation phenomena, natural phenomena, or lens ghosting or flare.

Unfortunately, the absolute distance between SID-1 and these two UAPs is unknown, but considering that the weather data at the time indicates clear skies and a visibility of 20 km, it is possible to estimate that they were flying at a distance of 10 km to 20 km. Also, the altitude is estimated to be about 1,000 meters, and the size of the UAP is estimated to be several tens of meters.

Based on the travel times in the UAP images and these estimates, the speeds ranged from 1,320 km/h to over 2,635 km/h. This is over Mach 1 to 2, which is roughly equivalent to the speed of a jet plane. This is in excess of Mach 1 to 2, roughly equivalent to the speed of a jet plane.

However, there is a big question about this figure.

It means that in most countries, including Japan, supersonic flights below the prescribed altitude over land or in cities are normally prohibited except in emergencies.

If so, this would make it highly unlikely that this is an Earth-made airliner or other jet aircraft.

Considering the shape of the UAP, it cannot be considered an earth-made flying object as we know it, as it has a smooth capsule-like form and no propellers or rotor blades are recognized.
