Today was so busy!
I woke up at 5:50am, then woke up my mum at 6am so we could get ready to go to my aunt's place. We had to pick up my mum and aunt's father's younger sister from the airport! (I think that's who she is @_@;) And also her two sons and one of the son's wife. They're staying here for 4 nights.
(I took this in the car while it was moving when me and my mum were driving to my aunt's house to go to the airport. We were on top of a hill. I think I took it at almost 8am)
Oh man, at the airport we walked to a duty-free store because my uncle wondered off to look at alcohol and I saw a row of Chandon, Moet & Chandon and Moet champagne bottles and I wanted to sulk... I was SO tempted to ask one of the assistants to give me a taste! But... I don't think such thing is possible right? (笑) I even saw a bottle of Moet Rose champagne! (;_;)
I really like pink champagne... it's so nice and fizzy and it doesn't even taste like alcohol! I drank one while I was in Vietnam at the beginning of this year that tasted like raspberry soda and I was all sdfjw4urto4jtjsgfdsg323w and I have yet to try Dom Perignon! I also saw that next to the Moet bottles.
... I went off topic didn't I? (汗)
Anyway, the couple come from France and the granny and other uncle come from New Zealand.
I don't remember ever meeting them but my parents said I have... and then I overheard the granny asking my aunt if I was that baby in my mum's arms.. and I was like.. (=________=;) and thinking 'HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU EXPECT ME TO REMEMBER ANYTHING AT THAT AGE!?'
After that we drove them to their motel so they could put their luggages away and then went out for a really early lunch. At the motel, the uncle from New Zealand gave both us family a bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label Whisky! O_O We ate Vietnamese. I had beef pho, but I didn't like it. I told my mum to get me the raw beef one but when it came out.. my beef was already cooked... ashdkjshfdgdfg
Well after that, we went to my aunt's house and did my Japanese homework on my cousin's bed while he was watching X-Files that he bought. He's 26 this year. He asked me if I wanted to go to Highpoint shopping centre while he goes to the gym since I had nothing better to do, and I agreed.
So at 3:30pm, I followed him and walked around by myself. I finally bought my friend her belated birthday card... (I'M SO SORRY LALA!!) and then I tried to go clothes shopping. I haven't bought any new clothes for so long... I found a pair of grey skinny leg jeans and a creamy white hooded jumper that I really liked. But... everything rarely works out for me when I go clothes shopping... the jeans didn't have my size and the jumper was too big for me at the shoulders... It was already a size S too!! I asked a lady in the changing rooms and she said that I shouldn't buy it since when I stretch up the shoulders puff up. I was so so sad... but tomorrow, all of us are going downtown so hopefully we can drop into Myer so I can see if they have any left of my size (they are sale items so I don't know if they'd have any)... I hope the do...
(I took this sitting in my cousin's car!)
After I tried everything, it was time to meet my cousin back at the gym so I quickly dashed off to Starbuck's to get an Iced Caramel Macchiato! The line was long and there was only one person at the coffee machine too, so it took a while for my drink to be made and my cousin ended up calling me to see where I was. We had to leave because all of us had to meet at a yumcha restaurant by 6pm for dinner. When I hung up, my drink came! And luckily I remembered how to get back to the specific exit I came in from... I had to spend a few moments to retrace my steps, because I walked all over the place on 2 levels and I'm not familiar with that shopping centre.
At the restaurant, my other cousin and his wife and baby daughter came to eat as well. I was letting her take photos with my digital camera and she loved it! She's almost 2.5 years old. I think I overate as well... and my dad called saying that we'll be eating again at the same restaurant but at the one where I live... I'll need to diet after tomorrow!! (泣)
After dinner at 8pm, me and my mum left for home.. Oh yeah, when we were about to leave, the wife of the uncle from France, she gave each of us $100 euros for memorabilia O___O; The couple own a supermarket in France. I didn't want to take the money but she kept insisting it and to take it as memorabilia and everyone else told me to so I did. She also gave my baby cousin the same amount and also my younger brother which he wasn't there, so she gave it to my mum and she passed it to me to pass to him.
I wrote a major essay, didn't I? ごめなさい...
