Kamakura and Noh
Yesterday, I joined a day trip of a Japanese cultural circle.
Destination of the trip was Kamakura where Noh developed its idea and tales in 11th century. We visited historical sites, taken to Noh play scrips, which tell us about how people of those days saw the world and life.
At Shomyoji, the lecturer recited a part of Noh piece, made me have an illusion of the old days.
