Mother’s Day

It was Mother’s Day.

My children suggested cooking dinner for their mom and I was involved to help them. Mom, of-course, happily welcomed their plan, saying “how nice to be relaxed in the evening time.”

Their cooking plan was Mabo-Tofu, simple and easy cooking but challenge for them.

The youngest one washed rice and set it to cooker. He also cut Tofu into small cubes.

His sister went out for shopping in the heavy rain for Mabo-Tofu sauce.

She was also in charge of cooking Miso-soup.

Then, I mixed up the sauce with cubed Tofu and some other things.

After that, I telephoned to the eldest son to buy a carnation as his task.

He bought it on the way back to house from his part time job.

So our surprising dinner was finally successfully done.

It was so nice to see Mom’s smile on the Mother’s Day.
