Orthokeratology 1
Do you know “Orthokeratology” (Ortho-K for short)? I knew nothing about it till my daughter came to beg me to have it. She is a shortsighted person. In last couple of years, the myopia got worse because of intensive study for the entrance exam. She used to wear glasses but they couldn’t help to stop it. Besides, above all else, putting glasses looks an adolescent girl daggier, who thinks she is uncool among classmates.
So she has asked me many times to have contact lenses instead of glasses for years although the suggestion was hard to understand for me. I know many young girls wear glasses and enjoy their lives, why can she be like one of them?
A month ago, however, she came to me with something different idea what she heard from one of her chorus fiends.
