K-Pop is popular again
It seems K-Pop became popular again, especially among teenagers. I remember, almost two decades ago, Korean culture, include movie, drama and K-pop groups acquired a lot of funs in this country. Many Japanese ladies visited Korea to see their idols and followed wherever they go as they came to Japan. Several years later, however, the boom has flown by and now we don’t remember what happened to those stars. Interestingly, nowadays, young people who have not experienced the boom in the past attracted so much to K-Pop idols. I came to know it from my daughter that many girls in her school are really crazy about Korean male singers. They look really handsome, perform fantastic dance and communicate in Japanese language. It is remarkable that Korean showbiz has clear strategy to make business in other countries. Maybe Japanese showbiz people learn from their attitude to make big sales, as well.
