The Namiki family’s situation hurts Kahoko and let her know she needs support from Hajime.
As Hatsuyo’s conscience is back, she let Kahoko to open her Treasure Box in front of the daughters, which was filled with memorial items of them, to remind them how she deeply loved in their childhood. Daughters told their appreciation in tears and reconcile by forgiving each other.
The night, Hatsuyo passed away to heaven, leaving words of entrusting Kahoko with the family members.
