It was about one month ago, one of my colleagues got married in the age of 60. First marriage for him. The bride is late 40’s. First marriage for her as well. I have known him since 15 years ago. In those days, he was still 40’s and often told me that “marriage is the tomb of life”. In fact, he had girlfriends and change them one to the other. I know that sometimes he had multiple girlfriends in same time.
But it seems that he has changed his view to the relationship between man and woman. To spend final stage of his life, he chose a woman to live together.
There are many couples who divorce in the age of 50 and 60 after bringing their children. Sadly, they spent together over 30 years but finally decided to separate each other.
On the other hand, there are couples who decide to marry as they get old. Whatever the process could be this way of marriage also an option to be happy, I guess.
