濡れたアスファルトの上に落ちた油滴が、きれいな虹の油膜をつくった。路上の太陽。道を歩いていて、こういうものに出くわすと、やっぱりふしぎな気持ちになります。自然って、なんてふしぎなんだろう……
いや、これは、いわゆる「自然」じゃないですね。むしろ「人工」だ。アスファルトの道は人がつくったもんだし、そこに落ちた油滴も、やっぱり人工物……おそらくガソリンか、なにかのオイルでしょう。
にもかかわらず「自然って、すごいなあ……」と思ってしまいます。いわゆる「ニュートン・リング」なのか……それとも、また別の光学現象なのでしょうか……わかりませんが、何ミクロンという世界のできごとが、こんなに見る人の心に働きかけるとは……
こういうものを見ていると、「自然」とか「人工」とか区別するのもどーなのかなー……という気になります。この世界（つまり地球）は、もうすでに人間の手によってかなり改造されている。いわゆる「テラフォーミング」というヤツですが……「自然」とか「人工」とかを考える基盤がすでによくわからないものになってます。
それでも、美しいものは美しい……これは、やっぱり、ちょっとどうしようもないことだと思います。なんでこんなものができてしまうのだろうか……こういうものを見ると、「自然」とか「人工」を超えて、どうしても「神のはたらき」みたいなものに心がいってしまう……
One day, I was walking, and had found the sun of iris on the road. It's a beauty in nature. Nature? No……it's rather artificial. Maybe it was made from a drop of artificial oil on artificial wet road. However, I thought "nature is great" ……. Was it so-called Newton ring? Or different optical phenomena?
Anyway, when I watch such a thing, I wonder that , where is the border of "natural" or "artificial" ?
This world (in other words the earth) already has been considerably remodeled by human hands. So-called the terraforming.
We have not any base of thinking about "nature" itself anymore. Still the beautiful thing is beautiful……No one can deny it maybe. Why will such a thing be made?……Beyond the problem of "nature" or "artificial", I had to feel like "work of God".
