What is REMAT?

As the result of the explosion at Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant, REMAT(Radiation Emergency Medical Assistance Team) from National Institute of Radiological Sciences has arrived at the Disaster Countermeasure Center for Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant (the name of this center has not been confirmed.)

Tsunami warning

The Japan Meteorological Agency switched the Major Tsunami Warning that had been given to the Pacific coast area into the Tsunami Warning. The scale of tsunami has been attenuated to one-fifth or one-tenth.
