誕生日おめでとう Happy 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated Shun`s 2nd birthday in Shanghai last week. Little boy is trying to adapt to his new urban life here without the clean air, fresh food and familiar faces etc. Well, he hasn`t been sleeping well either at night for about 3 weeks probably due to the change in environment.

To cheer him up on his birthday, I ordered a carrot & cheese cake with his favourite bullet train character specially drawn from an American bakery. Shun loved his birthday cake so much and insisted us to sing him the birthday song for 3 consecutive days.

So, my boy is now officially in the terrible 2's stage. We all heard about this but I had no clue they would be this bad. I constantly remind myself that this is only NORMAL and will be a passing phase.

His frequent mood changes and temper tantrums is driving me crazy sometimes. But, I must TRY not to lose my patience on him else will be contributing to more battles than are necessary.

Peaceful days are good days.

先週俊は二歳の誕生日を迎えた。

上海にきてから三週間ぐらいずーーーと夜ちゃんと寝れなくて、寝起きも悪いし、機嫌悪い日が多かった。

親の都合で新しいところに生活させるの悪かったかな。。

今年はケーキ焼けないから、口コミで美味しいケーキ屋さんを探して、特別注文した。

俊が大好きな新幹線を描いてもらった。

めちゃめちゃ喜んだから、よかった！　

２歳はイヤイヤ期、魔の二歳といつて、自我が芽生え始め、本人でもかなり混乱している時期だそう。。　私はそれを理解して上手に俊と乗り越えたい。

これからもずっと大きな病気せず元気に育ってね

Adjusting and adapting

Its been a month since we arrived in Shanghai. As expected, my blogger and u tube accounts are no longer accessible unless I use a certain proxy which helps to bypass those filters.

Great news coz I can still read those blogs that I have been following.

But, I have decided to start my new blog here in case the proxy gets blocked too.

I don`t need to go through a proxy with this Japanese server and I kinda like their templates.

This is going to be the new space where I share the going-ons in my new life with my family and friends.
