When you have free time...

... you fill it all up with appointments like going to see the doctor, the dentist, the optometrist... becaues you have been putting it off when you were too busy working. (ﾉ_-｡)

Today it's the optometrist. He'll no doubt get me to get new glasses but I think I am just good. Tomorrow I'm getting a flu shot since I'll be traveling later this month. Fun. It's the same flu shot I got back in November but apparently those only last 4-6 months.

I kinda miss work. Not the working part. Not the part where I have to wake up and fight traffic. But the people part.

It's both nice and not to be out of a job. Technically I am not out of a job,.. I'm just "taking my time". I may not have any kind of holiday for a long time after I start my post-doc. So I'm enjoying this while I can.

Yum! I ate the whole thing!

It's been quite a while since I've had pizza too.

Long time no post

Hm, I came back from Japan last week, and then spent a week or so cleaning up my stuff at work. My last few days at the lab involved a lot of throwing out papers and things I've kept forever and now can say a forever goodbye to.

So, now I am out of a job, and a bum.

Such is life, and it is fun. (＝⌒▽⌒＝)
