子供の愛し方がわからない親が増えています。

好きな異性にどう接すればいいのかわからない、
と悩んでいる若者もたくさんいます。
愛し方とは、いったい何でしょうか？
.
「人との正しい付き合い方」などという決まりはありません。
不眠症の人が眠れないのは、「眠らなければならない」
という脅迫めいた義務感にしばられているからです。

ふつう、人は、眠たくなったら眠るだけです。
「どうすれば眠ることができるか」などということは意識していません。
.
人を愛することができる人は、
愛し方が「わかっている」というよりも、
ただ単に愛したいから、自分が嬉しいから、
そうしているのです。

ときには誤解されることもあり、拒絶されることもあります。
それでも、自分の喜びのために、人を愛したいから愛しているのです。

わかるもわからないもありません。
人を愛したいという気持ちさえあれば、それで充分です。

書店に行けば、
就職の面接のためのマニュアル本がたくさん売られています。

しかし、面接官の側から見れば、
マニュアルに書かれていることをそつなくこなす学生には、
あまり魅力を感じないといいます。

自分の言葉で、誠実に、心を込めて語ることが、
人間として信頼を得る最善の方法です。

人付き合いも同じで、形式にとらわれず、そのときどきにおいて、
自分の頭で柔軟に考えて行動するしかないのです。

人の愛し方がわからないという人は、
本当は、「どう愛すればよいか」ではなく、
「どうしたら相手にも愛してもらえるのか」
ということで悩んでいるのです。

「せっかく愛してあげても、相手も同じように愛してくれなければ損だ」
と考えているから、なかなか愛する勇気がでないのです。

人を愛するとは、まず、相手を理解することから始まります。
相手が何を喜びと感じ、何を悲しみと感じているのか。
何を求めているのか。どうされれば嬉しいのか。

絶対に正しい考え方というものはなく
、私たちにできることは、互いを尊重し、認め合うということだけです。

万人に共通する付き合い方というものはありません。
付き合いながら、試行錯誤して理解し合うしかないのです。

「人とどう接すればいいかわからない」というのは、
「その人を理解しようという気持ちがない」
と言っているのと同じことです。

相手の価値観、好き嫌い、そのときどきの感情などを理解し、
相手の立場になって考え、共感したり、意見を交わしたりする。
それが人と付き合うということです。

「どうすれば相手に受け入れてもらえるのか」と、
自分を押しつけようとするから、うまく付き合えなくなるのです。
.
他人の言いなりになってしまうという人も、
他人に気を遣って何でも我慢してしまうという人も、
自分を押しつけています。
.
相手を思いやっているのではなく、
ただ「自分が嫌われたくない」という利己的な欲求しかないのです。
.
誰からも受け入れてもらう確実な方法などというものはありません。
人それぞれに考え方は違います。
.
ただひとつ、共通して言えることは、
「私を認めなさい」と強要すれば、
かえって嫌われるということだけです。
.
自信がなくても、飾らず、身構えず、
ありのままの自分で接することが、
もっとも他人から好かれる可能性の高い付き合い方です。
