ブログネタ：そろそろホット？まだまだアイス？ 参加中私はまだまだアイス派！
I could never order hot drinks from vending machines, even in freaking freezing Michigan winter that goes below -20 degrees in Celsius! The reason is quite simple, I can't drink "hot stuffs", let a lone hold the dang thing. In the coffee shop, I always have to ask for extra cup sleeves, so that I can at least carry it to my desk and prop it down.
In one Japanese saying, they would say that a person who can't sip/eat hot (temperature wise) stuffs, having a "cat tongue". Actually, this isn't true in nature of feline families. Well, I mean, sure cat can't sip up boiling hot waters, but then so is any other mammals!! The feline families belong to carnivore family, and they are not scavengers, meaning they "hunt" for their food, and they eat the food right after the hunt is over. Of course, cat will at times, just play with the preys they caught, but for the most part, they would eat their foods right after the hunt, when the meats are still fresh. I mean "fresh" as in still having warmth of the body temperature of their preys. Let's say a cat had caught a bird, the body temperature of a bird is actually a little bit higher than our own and it's right around 40-42 Celsius degrees. Now, I don't know about you, but I can't take a shower or let a lone bath in that kind of temperature!! To me, it's way too hot! I like to keep the shower temperature around 36-37 Celsius degrees, or a bit lower during the summer time. Yep, those 3-6 degrees really make a difference!! So, with feline families being able to eat the birds with that kind of body temperature, I think they are way better at handling hot foods much more than I can!!
